THE NEIGHBOURHOOD (TIPS ON THE "TOPS")
At StayHome Lisbon you can find self-catering accommodations located in the city center near the main streets to downtown Lisbon. Campo Pequeno is 3 minutes walking and there you can choose between the bus or the bus sightseeing, the subway, the train or a taxi to go where ever you like.
Around the bullring you will find different restaurants of different countries: japanese, italian, spanish and of course portuguese. There is also a shopping center and a supermarket under the bullring.
The distance to Rossio or Chiado (city center) and Lisbon Airport is the same: only 3km
Campo Pequeno Square
- All this at 3’ walking
Just walking down the street you will find the beautiful Campo Pequeno Square with it’s monumental building. So beautiful that we choose it as our image!. It was built in 1892 just to bullfighting’s events. In nowadays it is also a showroom for a different kind of events: music concerts, exhibitions, fairs. You must check the agenda!
But it’s not all. Underneath the bullring you have a shopping centre, cinemas, a supermarket, several shops and modern and cheap fast food restaurants. This is the place where you can find everything you may need during your stay in our apartments.
Saturdays morning the square is lively! You can buy a variety of organic products brought by producers from around Lisbon to the organic market. Delicious!
Around the building there are several nice restaurants, including some international food: Spanish, Italian and Japanese. In the buildings around the square there are other options: restaurants, cafeterias, and traditional cafes. In “Padaria Portuguesa”, a nice traditional café in Lisbon, you can buy freshly baked bread during all day, traditional cakes or delicious croissants.
